Which black knob suits which kitchen?
For modern, minimalist kitchens with smooth fronts, we recommend the Vigio Black Knob with its square, objective design or the Vasco Black Knob. Both models have clean lines without ornamentation and match the minimalist style of contemporary kitchens. For country-style kitchens with textured fronts or frame profiles, the Arturo Black Knob or the Alvaro Black Knob is the more harmonious choice, as their slightly softer shape fits the traditional design language of the country style. For classic furniture pieces with decorative details, we recommend the Remo Black Deluxe Knob or the Agero Black Knob Deluxe with their slightly more elaborate profile.
Black knobs in the bathroom and bedroom
In the bathroom, black furniture knobs on white bathroom furniture create a precise, modern accent. They go particularly well with black fittings, black towel hooks, and black accessories if a consistent dark color scheme is desired in the bathroom. In the bedroom, black knobs on light chests of drawers and wardrobes look functional and stylish at the same time. The Cordero Black Knob and the Rando Black Knob are particularly suitable for smaller drawers in bedroom and bathroom furniture due to their compact size.
Combining black knobs and handles
Black furniture knobs can be easily combined with black furniture handles, as long as both elements have the same surface quality. Matte black knobs combine best with matte black handles. A common method is to use knobs on small drawers and handles on large cabinet doors within the same kitchen. This combination is not only functionally sensible, because small drawers are easier to open with a knob, but also creates a varied, well-thought-out visual appearance.
Frequently asked questions about black furniture knobs
Are matte black knobs fingerprint-resistant?
Yes. The matte black powder coating of our furniture knobs makes fingerprints and grease marks significantly less visible than high-gloss or polished surfaces. The matte texture diffuses light and makes small smudges less noticeable. In case of heavy use, a damp cloth is sufficient for cleaning. Abrasive cleaners are not suitable, as they can damage the coating.
Which black knob suits a white kitchen?
Almost all black knobs go well on white kitchen fronts, because the contrast between white and black always looks strong and clean. For a modern result, we recommend the Vigio Black Knob or the Vasco Black Knob. For a slightly softer, cozier result, the Adaro Black Knob or the Stefano Black Knob is the right choice.
How many black knobs do I need for a standard kitchen?
This depends on the number of drawers and cabinet doors. Each drawer and each cabinet door needs one knob. For a kitchen with 10 drawers and 8 cabinet doors, that's 18 knobs. We also offer our black knobs in a 10-pack, for example the Cordero Black and the Rando Black, so that a complete kitchen setup is particularly economical.
Can I install black furniture knobs myself?
Yes. Installation only requires a screwdriver. Each knob is attached with a single screw from the inside of the cabinet door or drawer. If your piece of furniture does not yet have a drill hole, first drill a hole with a diameter of 4 mm. The supplied screw is suitable for cabinet doors with a thickness of 16 to 22 mm. Installing a single knob takes less than a minute.
