The Carlo series has a more compact, three-dimensional design in 20 cm height and is available in black. Both series are mounted with spacers that create the necessary distance from the wall and optimally position the shadow.

On which facades does a 3D house number have the strongest effect?

The 3D effect is best showcased on light, even facades because the shadow is particularly clearly visible on a light background. White or light grey rendered facades, light clinker bricks, and light grey exposed concrete surfaces are ideal backgrounds for black 3D house numbers. On dark facades, the shadow is less visible, but the sculptural depth of the house number remains as a design element. Stainless steel versions look particularly striking on dark facades due to the contrast between the light metal and the dark background.

The spacers of our 3D house numbers position the house number between 1.5 and 3 cm from the wall, depending on the model. This distance is deliberately chosen to create a visible shadow without the house number protruding too far from the facade. With side lighting, a clearly visible shadow effect is created even with a wall distance of 2 cm.

Are 3D house numbers more difficult to install than flat models?

No. The installation is identical to that of a flat house number. The included mounting kit contains screws, wall plugs, and spacers. The spacers are automatically positioned between the house number and the wall during screwing. The enclosed mounting template facilitates exact alignment. Installation takes only a few minutes, even for 3D models.

Which 3D house number suits a modern facade?

For modern, minimalist facades with clean lines, we recommend the Angelo series in black or stainless steel. The geometric, simple design of the Angelo series fits well with contemporary architecture where details are deliberately reduced. The Carlo series in black also has a modern appearance and is suitable for facades where a slightly more compact house number is preferred.

Does a 3D house number also look good in bad weather?

Yes. In cloudy weather or diffuse light, the shadow is less pronounced, but the sculptural depth of the house number remains visible and still gives the facade a high-quality appearance.
